Set up your domain

Connecting your domain should only take a few minutes. Please see the slideshow for step by step instructions below. We are also linking help articles to common providers should you run into any trouble. It we dont list your provider below please feel free to Google “manage “name of your provider” DNS records” to find the help record.

Import your contacts

You can upload your contact list of customers directly into Ghost. These are people you want to reach out to, like current customers, warm leads, or past users you’d like to win back. Ghost allows you to bucket each contact into one of three statuses: Lead, Active, or Inactive, so you can tailor your messaging accordingly. Please note the Ghost **should never **be used for mass cold outreach ie. trying to cold email thousands of people that did not give you their email. This activity will be flagged by our system and your acccount will be banned.

Create your first chat

When starting your first chat with Ghost, the more context you give, the better the output. You can upload documents, meeting recordings, videos, or even drop a link to a YouTube video - Ghost will use it all to generate highly specific, on-brand content. Ghost automatically pulls in context from your website and Instagram to learn your voice, offers, and aesthetic. It knows what industry you’re in and tailors every response accordingly — whether you’re writing a sales email, planning a launch, or creating social content. Ghost comes with a Notion-style editor built in on the right hand side, so you can keep all your documents, notes, and ideas in one place.
